ubilinux™ is an embedded Linux distribution from Emutex and is based on Debian "Wheezy". It is targeted at embedded devices that have limited memory and storage capabilities.
Our latest version of the ubilinux distribution is available as a flashable image for Intel® Edison based platforms. The installer package can be extracted onto a Linux host, and the image flashed to the Edison platform via USB cable. The distribution contains C, C++ compilers, Perl, Python, Node.JS, as well as a sketch downloader for compatibility with the Edison Arduino IDE. You can download the Edison ubilinux image from here and install it using these installation instructions.
Our first version of the ubilinux distribution is available as a USB installer image for Intel® Quark™ based platforms: Intel® Galileo and Intel® Galileo Gen2. The installer package can be extracted and copied to a USB key using Windows explorer or any other standard file copying mechanism.
